DynamicSignals LLC and SP Devices Announces a Combined Effort Regarding High Performance USB Digitizers.
Press Release, March 1, 2010. SP Devices and DynamicSignals today announce a cooperation regarding high speeds digitizers. DynamicSignals will use SP Devices technology and design in a coming series of USB digitizers to be marketed under the Gage brand name. The digitizers will include patented interleaving technology from SP Devices as well as the powerful GageScope application software.
The new series of digitizers will have sampling rates ranging from 400MSPS up to 1.1GSPS with resolutions of 12 and 14 bits. To achieve the highest sampling frequencies, interleaving technology from SP Devices is used. The new series of digitizers will be supported by the GageScope software. This makes the new range of digitizers ideal for test and measurement applications where advanced features such as spectrum analysis and advanced triggering are required.
"We have established ourselves as the leader in the PC-based digitizer and oscilloscope cards market," says Patrick Cassady, Executive Vice President of DynamicSignals, and he continues: "From our customers we see an increasing interest in easy to use high performance USB digitizers. Through the cooperation with SP Devices we get a jump start into the high performance USB digitizer market where digital signal processing technologies are necessary to achieve top performance."
Jonas Nilsson, CEO at SP Devices says: "The Test & Measurement market is an important market where high performance Analog-to-Digital conversion solutions are needed. The cooperation with GaGe gives us an important new channel to address the Test & Measurement market.
